Big changes.

What a very busy few months both James and I have had.

Within the first few weeks of the lockdown easing I managed to sustain a very nasty break to my leg, having fallen off a young horse cross country schooling. Its has been a fairly boring few months of box rest but I am nearly ready to get back in the saddle and back doing what I love.

After my fall, James and I made the decision to make a massive move to be based with my Farther Ian and Heidi at DHI. It was a huge decision for both of us to move so far from where we had been based for the past few years, but with the incredible facilities and opportunity at DHI we could not turn it down. It is safe to say over the past few years we have gathered ALOT of stuff, but thanks to some great friends and members of staff both us and the horses are all very settled in our new home.

I am so excited that we now have the amazing Frankie Murrell as part of our, she needs no introducing. She is one of the best grooms and head girls around and we are so Lucky to have her.

As the season draws to a close I can't help but feel gutted about my injury but onwards and upwards to a busy winter of training ready for next year.

Despite all of the above the first few events that we have done have been hugely successful and its been great having Holly supporting me/ hopping along on her crutches.

The horses despite barely any runs have really shown their class. Mr Sneezy my top horse enjoyed our first 3 day of the year at Burhnam Market in the CCI4*L Finishing in the top 20.

All the young horses have stepped up to Novice and intermediate level well and have come each time in the money.

We have a hugely busy week ahead with 4 young horses at the young horse championships held at Thoresby Park. Fingers crossed for a good week.
