A Pre-season Visit from Eventing Images

With the new Season rapidly approaching this past week has seen us increasing the endurance work, the horses have been out cross country schooling at Tweseldown and Attington and we've also been doing some speed work up the gallops, plus Dad (Ian Woodhead) managed to squeeze me in to his busy schedule to give me a couple of dressage lessons. I'm starting to get excited now, the first entries are in, the pre-season preparations are progressing well and we're just about ready to go eventing.

The weekend has also been busy with me at home working and schooling the horses in the arena, Tiny Clapham was here on Saturday helping me jump a few of the horses and Tim Wilkinson from Eventing Images visited to photograph the new horses that have arrived on the yard in the last couple of weeks for the website. I'm sure you'll agree that Tim has done a great job of updating my website for me. Thank you Tim!

While Tim was here we discussed the season ahead, we talked about which horses are going where and checking how our two schedules fit together. I'm very fortunate to have Tim supporting me this season and I'm really looking forward to seeing the amazing photos he produces of me and the horses out competing.

It was my Birthday at the beginning of January and Tim arrived with a belated present for me, this beautiful canvas of Mr Sneezy :D

Below are a few of the photos taken over the weekend, there are more photos from the weekend in the galleries section.

Until next time. Holly xx
